Tune in to a compelling episode of the Relentless podcast as host Kyle Dubé engages in a thought-provoking conversation with Chief Dale McFee, Edmonton's 23rd Chief of Police. Delve into his distinguished career in law enforcement, his commitment to community well-being, and his relentless pursuit of striking a balance between accountability and protecting the vulnerable in the face of evolving challenges, including the mental health crisis and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dale McFee, a devoted public servant, boasts a distinguished 26-year career in law enforcement, including a notable nine-year stint as Chief of Police in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and in his current role as Edmonton's 23rd Chief of Police. His profound understanding of policing extends to the provincial level through his six-year tenure as Deputy Minister of Corrections and Policing in Saskatchewan's Ministry of Justice.
McFee's leadership acumen is not limited to law enforcement, as evidenced by his national roles, including serving as President of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police from 2011 to 2014. His exceptional contributions have earned him accolades such as the Officer of the Order of Merit of the Police Forces from the Governor General of Canada, recognizing his outstanding service.
