Tina Thomas, the CEO of the Edmonton Community Foundation, is a recognized leader with a diverse background in the private and public sectors. As the former Executive Director of Strategy & Innovation at the Edmonton Pubic Library, Tina spearheaded initiatives in technology services, research, marketing, and fund development, driving the implementation of EPL’s Business Plan and organizational priorities. Tina was the driving force behind EPL’s award-winning rebranding project and has been recognized for her outstanding contributions, including being named ‘Capital Communicator of the Year’ by the International Association of Business Communicators, Edmonton Chapter in 2013, and honoured as a Library Journal Mover and Shaker, as well as one of the ‘Top 40 under 40’ by Avenue Magazine in 2011.
